The Retirement Advantage, Inc. (“TRA,” “we”, “our,” or “us”) recognizes that the privacy of your personal information is important. The purpose of this privacy policy (“Policy”) is to let you know how we handle information collected through the use of www.tra401k. com and https://markleyactuarial.com (the “Websites”), our TRA mobile application (the “App”), and any other website or application that links to, references, or displays this Policy, as well as how we handle information you otherwise provide us or we obtain as described in this Policy (collectively, the “Services”). Portions of this Policy may describe privacy practices applicable to specific types of information, or to information provided on specific Services.
Any information you provide, including any personal information, will be transferred to and processed by a computer server located within the United States.
Email
Sending emails over the Internet may not be secure. Please consider this fact before emailing any personal or confidential information to us. TRA always recommends using a secure email service to send or receive emails that may contain personally identifiable information (“PII”) or protected health information (“PHI”).

- Retirement plan compliance related tasks standardly provided by a third party administrator;

- Provide you with information that we believe may be useful to you, such as information about products or services provided by us or other businesses;
- Perform analytics and to improve our products, Services and advertising;
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process;
- Protect someone’s health, safety, or welfare;
- Protect our rights, the rights of affiliates or related third parties, or take appropriate legal action, such as to enforce our Terms of Use;
- Keep a record of our transactions and communications; and
- Conduct our business, as otherwise necessary or useful, for us so long as such use is permitted by law.
We may use personal information to contact you through any contact information you provide through the Services, including any email address, telephone number, cell phone number, or fax number. Please see the section below titled, “Our Online Communications Practices”.
We may also share personal information within TRA. We may combine personal information that you provide us through the Services with other information we have received from you, whether online, offline, or from other sources such as from our vendors.
Additionally, if you apply for a job online at TRA, you may be asked to provide additional personal information such as your education level, previous jobs, resume, and references. This information will be used by TRA to evaluate you for employment positions only.
Sharing Personal Information
TRA does not sell or rent personal information of users to third parties for promotional or marketing purposes and does not share personal information with anyone outside of TRA for their own promotional or marketing use without user consent. TRA uses personal or financial information to provide users with information and services requested to give a customized, interactive experience with its products. TRA may communicate with users regarding other service or product offerings provided by TRA and may provide notice to users of third-party offerings that may be of interest.
We may share personal information during a transaction involving a sale of all or a part of TRA’s assets, a merger, dissolution, or acquisition of TRA, or in a similar transaction.
We may share personal information in response to a court order, subpoena, search warrant, law, or regulation. We may cooperate with law enforcement authorities in investigating and prosecuting activities that are illegal, violate our rules, or may be harmful to other visitors.

Users may be able to update certain personal information through various web portals accessible via the Websites. To do so, users may log into the applicable portal(s) by browsing www.tra401k.com and clicking on the Login link and choosing the appropriate option.

TRA maintains reasonable safeguards designed to protect the information you provide on the Services. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of the Services, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet, and we are not liable for the illegal acts of third parties.

Links to various non-TRA websites do not constitute or imply endorsements by TRA of these websites, any products or services described on these sites, or of any other material contained in them.
Do Not Track
The Websites does not respond to “do not track” requests. All traffic is treated as equal and processed the same. If you desire to have your browsing be private, we suggest that you use your web browser’s private or incognito function, or similar options.
Children Under the Age of 13
The Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, without parental consent, we will delete that information and otherwise comply with the requirements of any applicable law including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
