Seasoned Retirement Plan Executive Joins TRA to Lead National Sales Strategy and Team Development

APPLETON, WI (October 27, 2025) – The Retirement Advantage, Inc. (TRA), a leading national retirement services company, is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Lastivka as Vice President of National Sales and Distribution. Tim will report directly to Matt Schoneman, President and Owner of TRA.

In his new role, Lastivka will lead TRA’s national sales team, which partners with financial advisors, wealth managers, and recordkeeping wholesalers to deliver tailored retirement plan solutions to businesses nationwide. He will also focus on developing the team’s capabilities and strengthening strategic partnerships.

Lastivka brings over two decades of experience in retirement plan distribution, leadership, and strategic growth. Most recently, he served as Divisional Vice President at Transamerica, leading a team of 15 wholesalers and two business development directors with a $1.8 billion regional sales goal. Prior to that, he was a Regional Vice President, where he was a top performer for 10 years that included Top of the Nation, TPA Player of the year and Top of the Region awards.

Tim received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Otterbein University and currently holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 65 securities licenses. He is known for building high-performing teams and strong advisor relationships. His national network and leadership will be key to driving TRA’s continued growth. Tim currently resides in Kentucky.
