PRESS RELEASE – TRA Expands Sales Force with Appointment of Two New Regional Plan Consultants

Veteran Industry Leaders Join TRA to Strengthen Regional Support in Central and Mid-Atlantic Regions

APPLETON, WI (July 8, 2025) – The Retirement Advantage, Inc. (TRA), a leading provider of retirement services nationwide, is proud to announce the addition of two new Regional Plan Consultants (RPCs) to its growing team: Dominic Trupiano and Sean Duncan. These appointments further strengthen TRA’s commitment to delivering expert service and support across the country.

Dominic Trupiano will cover Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma, and brings a decade of experience as a senior leader in institutional retirement consulting. Most recently, Trupiano served as Vice President of Retirement Plan Consulting at OneDigital Investment Advisors, where he led a St. Louis-based Institutional Consulting Group overseeing approximately $5.5 billion in plan assets. He will report to Darin Erdmann, TRA’s Director of Sales & Distribution.

“Dominic is known for his strategic thinking, deep industry knowledge, and strong client advocacy,” said Erdmann. “He will be an incredible asset to our Central region and a valuable resource to our advisor partners.”

He resides in Missouri and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation.

Sean Duncan joins TRA as the Regional Plan Consultant for the Mid-Atlantic territory, encompassing DC, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Duncan brings over 25 years of experience in retirement plan consulting, most recently serving as Regional Vice President at Equitable. At Equitable, he led sales and client management for the Western U.S. and launched a nationally recognized 457 Sales Coaching Academy for advisors.

“Sean has a track record of driving growth through innovative sales strategies, advisor enablement, and deep consultant relationships,” said Erdmann. “His impact on the Mid-Atlantic region will be immediate and lasting.”

Duncan has earned numerous industry awards, including Equitable’s President’s Cup and Consultant Relations Director of the Year at Lincoln Financial. He holds the AIF®, ARPC, and CRES designations, along with Series 6 and 63 licenses, and lives in the Mid-Atlantic region.
